JND Legal Administration was established in early 2016 by Jennifer Keough, Neil Zola, and David Isaac. All three had previously worked together at one of the then-largest legal administration firms in the country, where they held senior leadership roles. The name "JND" is drawn from the first initial of each founder's first name: Jennifer, Neil, and David.

Headquartered in Seattle, JND was named the No. 1 Class Action Claims Administrator in the country by The National Law Journal, in its first year of operation. The company has been recognized as a top class action claims administrator by multiple leading legal publications every year since its founding. Its service lines grew to include class action settlement administration, mass tort and lien resolution, eDiscovery, government services, and legal noticing programs. During this period, JND completed four acquisitions, including Alloy Services, which became the basis for JND eDiscovery.

By 2021, the company had grown to more than 250 employees with offices in Seattle, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, New York, and Washington, D.C. In December of that year, Sedgwick, a global professional services company, acquired JND, retaining Jennifer, Neil, and David to continue leading JND's operations.

In just 10 years, JND has grown from a three-person startup to one of the largest legal administration providers in the country, earning consistent recognition across the industry. That growth has been driven by a focus on innovation in technology and processes, and an unwavering commitment to delivering results for the clients and communities the company serves.
